Wow what a great day! Adobe announced that the HTC Hero supports Flash Player 10!

I’m excited about this finally coming to reality. The Android platform is really amazing and un-fortunately the timing is off to use Adobe Flash for implementation since I’m planning to submit the game to the developer challenge. Maybe next time!

When I left adobe a month or so ago to pursue my own intersests I really had just a couple ideas I wanted to run with, but now I’ve added a video game to my list of projects. I’m not at all concerned about the iphone and I may decide one day to port the game over to the iphone, but my interests and inspirations and motivation are aimed directly at the Android platform, I love the community and the users there vs iphone community. Hopefully going forward, I’ll use Flash over Java, but we’ll see so far I’m having a lot of fun and I’m even looking for a little help if you are in SF, hit me up! ;-)

Also, Google used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to design the templates for Android which totally blows. I can’t tell ya how much of a pain in the ass it is to have multiple applications open just to design your application for Android! I could go on and on and why this could have easily been done in Adobe Fireworks, but hey thats me, hehe. It’s a good thing while working on the Fireworks team we made the decision to support current photoshop and illustrator documents. I’ll try and slow down and take what I have so far and make a generic template for Fireworks users soon and if interest arrises more than I expected I’ll work on it sooner than later.

This is a nice combination with the new Android OS and using Archos devices. I’ve been using the gphone now for about a month and have to say it was one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I’d imagine the Archos tablet to be a bit heavy, but thats ok considering what they are going to push with it.
